It was 1976 and Ira Rose was returning from travels in India and throughout the the Near East. Upon his return Ira established Cottage Jewelry as a small specialty shop offering exotic jewelry and gifts he had acquired along the way. Since those early days, in what was actually a small building that resembled a cottage, this little shop evolved into the fine jewelry shop that you see today on the corner of Chicago Ave. and Dempster St. in Evanston. We pride ourselves on continuing to be the neighborhood jewelry shop with both new and vintage jewelry a large collection of engagement rings and much more.
